I don’t want to see the truth!

I know it’s wrong to love you
For reasons that are plain

But my heart holds on to feelings
That my mind can not explain
I know if this continues,
I’ll be crying in the end

But my need to have you near me
Won’t let me just be your friend.

I know in time we’ll have to face
What’s forcing us apart

But I can not make decisions
that are guided by my heart
I know that though I love you
I may have to let you go
